2 Days of Aparnaa Fest was inaugurated amongst the dignitaries of the town.

Aparnaa World schools “The Learning KIVA” is a platform to connect with the community

 

Aparnaa world school, Jharsuguda promoted by Aparnaa foundation , organized a unique 2 day learning extravaganza “ The Learning KIVA” ‘ 2016, for students, parents and the community. The fest was inaugurated on 13th February with the lightning of the lamp, saraswati vandhana in the presence of various international key note speakers on parenting, storytelling & Puppetry. The show stopper of the event, a 3D mobile planetarium was installed in the school campus based at Buxi chowk, for everyone to witness various shows on planetary movements, secrets of the earth, panchatantra movies etc. for the children.  The annual fest included, paper kraft and calligraphy workshops, puppetry workshop and parenting workshop for all age groups. Various school in and nearby Jharsuguda participated for the workshops and had encouraged children and teachers to be a part of the event.  Fulfilling its commitment towards society at large, Aparnaa World School also invited under-privileged children from Asha Kiran, a school for mentally challenged children and from “School for Deaf & Dumb children” from Jharsuguda. These children have thoroughly enjoyed the Planetarium show and left with a beautiful smile on their faces.

Aparnaa fest will continue will all the events on 14th of February starting from 10 AM onwards and all the workshops are conducted without any registration charges. Parents and children are hereby requested to witness these magnificent events being conducted and give an experience of a lifetime to their children.

The parents and community members appreciated the efforts of the school to provide a platform for the students to witness such rare events being organized for the upliftment of the society as a whole.
