Health is Wealth

It is a very old maxim that “Health is wealth”. A healthy person can work with efficiency to earn wealth. The man who is not having a good health spends lots of money on medicine and clothes. He is never cheerful.

We help children to stay healthy by giving them better access to clean water, hand washing station and segregated bathroom facilities and teaching them good hygiene habits that will last a lifetime.

Mahatma Gandhi also said “It is health which is a real wealth and not the pieces of gold and silver”.

To explain our tiny tots the concept of Health and Hygiene, we celebrated an in-house event on Health and hygiene on 12th Dec 2014.The event began at 9:00am by the medical check-up of all the students by Dr. Dehuri, Asst. Surgeon, DHH and got over by 10:15am.

After that there was a short speech given by Centre Head Ms. Chanchal Dua on Health and Hygiene. Moving forward there was a group rhyme “After a bath I try try try” by L.K.G and U.K.G children. Later there was an enactment on dos and don’ts on health and hygiene.

Our guest of the day Dr. Dehuri told importance of good health in our life. As a token of love a bouquet and gift was presented to Dr. Dehuri by our principal sir, Dr. Arun Kumar Sinha.

The event ended by a short note given by our principal on Health and Hygiene.
