Children’s Day Celebration
Children give us innumerable instances of happiness and to celebrate the innocence and purity of this unconditional happiness Aparnaa World School celebrated Children’s Day in the Main Campus of Aparnaa World School on Saturday, 14th November 2015 with enthusiasm. It was a fun filled day for students as well as parents. The programme began with garlanding the portrait of Jawaharlal Nehru by Principal Sir and welcome speech. The primary school children also paid homage to the first prime minister in the form of Bharatnatyam. A grand Fancy Dress was held in which participation was compulsory for all the children of preschool. The themes were Fruits, Vegetables, and Flowers for P.G & Nursery children and National leaders, Ethnic, Religious Dress for L.K.G & U.K.G. children. Firstly, the performance was presented by the small kids of Playgroup and Nursery. They were dressed up in a variety of Flowers, Fruits, & Vegetables attire like Apple, Mango, Banana, Coconut, Flower Princess, carrot, Strawberry etc. then the students of L.K.G & U.K.G performed as a Chinese Doll, Punjabi, Subhas Chandra Bose, Narendra Modi, and Jawaharlal Nehru etc.

Nursery and PG– Dr.Geetika Saighal (physiotherapist), Dr. Meena Soni (Hindi Lecturer, Women’s College)
L.K.G and U.K.G-MS. Ruby Bose (Art and Craft expert), and Mr. M.V.L.N Rao (Teacher,DAV)
The guest of honour Dr. Meena Soni & Dr. Geetika Saighal blessed the students of P.G & Nursery and distributed chocolates and certificates to them. Then Ms. Ruby Bose and Mr. V.L.N Rao distributed certificates to the students of L.K.G &U.K.G. children. Parents were informed that it’s not a competition and there won’t be any 1st, 2nd… prizes. Participation certificate was given to all the students and appreciation certificate was given to the following best performers. (1/4 best performers from each group)
